Project Description
Typology: Multi-Residential
Country: Cammeraygal
Client: VIMG
Project Description:
Located along the Frank Channon pedestrian walkway, 9–11 Nelson Street reimagines the relationship between high-density living and the public realm. The proposal integrates communal spaces and green terraces throughout the building, creating places for residents to exercise, gather and unwind while maintaining a strong connection to landscape and light.
Indoor and outdoor environments are seamlessly linked through operable glass façades, allowing the gym, yoga studio and shared lounges to open onto a generous terrace. These adaptable spaces foster wellbeing, flexibility and a sense of community; extending daily life beyond the apartment.
At street level, the project enhances the Frank Channon Walk with publicly accessible pocket parks and active edges that transform the corridor into a safe, inviting and green pedestrian link. This gesture reclaims forgotten infrastructure as a valuable urban network; connecting people, places and the city through a landscape-led approach to density.
